Delta Homeowner Receives New Energy Efficient Windows!

Centra Cares’ 5^th Annual Home Renovation Contest has been a huge success!

We’ve seen a lot of great families receive the gift of new windows. Each year, Centra Cares puts out a call for nominations and the team whittles down hundreds of heartwarming and deserving stories to one worthy winner. This year, that winner was Becky Dineson of Delta.

Becky has dealt with a messy divorce, the loss of a family member, and both of her daughters have developed health issues. To top it all off, their home was in dire need of renovations, with windows being a particular problem. The home was drafty, windows would rattle, and Becky would have to put plastic over them when it got cold.

How New Windows Make a Big Difference

Becky’s windows have now been replaced with Centra’s high-performance, energy-efficient windows. These new windows will make a huge difference to the family’s comfort, eliminate drafts, save them money on their energy bills, and ensure the home stays warmer during those cold winters. The windows were installed on a beautiful weekend when it hit 30 degrees, and Becky reached out just days later to say thank you for what a huge difference they made and how much cooler the family were in the summer heat.

And that’s not all! Not only has the Dineson family received a whole house of high-performance windows – they have also had the entire exterior of their home painted thanks to the generosity of Cutting Edge Custom Painting and Cloverdale Paint!

We would like to say a huge thank you to all of our great installers who gave their Saturday morning to come and transform the Dineson family’s home. It’s great to have a team that cares so much about our community.
