Position Description:

As our Production Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the operational excellence of our state-of-the-art vinyl window manufacturing facility in Calgary that services all of Western Canada. You’ll be responsible for aligning production with our business objectives, optimizing processes, and ensuring that customer expectations are not just met—but exceeded. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will be the driving force behind a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and innovation.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead with accountability: Take full ownership of production outcomes, ensuring that goals are met and exceeded. You'll push your team to perform at their highest level, adapting quickly to changes and challenges.
• Hands-on problem solver: You won’t be hiding in your office. You’ll be on the floor, fixing issues before they become problems and ensuring customer satisfaction by going above and beyond.
• Customer-focused leader: You will ensure that our production schedules and quality align with customer needs, and you’ll be ready to step in to resolve issues to deliver exceptional results.
• Drive process improvements: Leverage lean manufacturing principles to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance the overall production experience. You’ll lead the charge on optimizing operations and scaling our capabilities.
• Lead, coach, and mentor your team: Develop a high-performing production team through hands-on leadership, continuous feedback, and structured development plans. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and growth, ensuring that every team member is empowered to contribute to the success of the operation.

What We’re Looking For:

• 6+ years of experience in technical production management, ideally within a large-scale, state-of-the-art manufacturing environment
• Proven experience in process optimization and driving operational excellence in technical manufacturing settings
• A decisive leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, able to manage and inspire a large team of over 100 plant employees
• A creative problem solver with the ability to tackle complex production challenges and implement innovative solutions
• A customer-first mindset, ensuring that every product meets the highest standards and that delivery exceeds expectations
• A highly accountable professional who goes above and beyond, continuously driving improvement and success
