Position Description:

As a Production Supervisor at our state-of-the-art vinyl window plant, you’ll play a critical role in overseeing production operations, ensuring the timely and efficient manufacture of top-quality windows and patio doors. You’ll be instrumental in maintaining a safe and productive workplace while championing continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Production Teams: Manage daily production activities to ensure targets are met. You’ll break down goals into achievable tasks and proactively address any delays by reallocating resources or coordinating overtime.
  • Ensure Quality: Oversee product quality control to ensure all products meet stringent standards. You’ll collaborate closely with the quality team to address any non-conformances and train staff to uphold high quality levels.
  • Safety First: As a safety leader, you’ll maintain and enforce a safe working environment, adhering to COR standards and promoting safety culture across teams.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process enhancements to boost efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall production outcomes.
  • Team Management & Development: Lead, mentor, and train production staff, ensuring skills development and high engagement. You’ll be responsible for managing team performance, resolving issues, and assisting in recruitment efforts as the plant grows.
  • Equipment Oversight: Work closely with the maintenance team to ensure equipment is properly maintained and that your team is trained on proper machine use. You’ll ensure any mechanical issues are reported promptly.

Must Have Qualifications:

  • Proven Leadership: 2+ years of hands-on supervisory experience in a production environment, particularly in technical or assembly-based products.
  • First Aid Certification: Intermediate First Aid is required for ensuring the safety and well-being of your team. If you do not have Intermediate you must have Basic First Aid and willing to get certified for Intermediate First Aid which we will provide.

  • Problem Solver & Innovator: Ability to identify issues quickly, implement corrective actions, and continuously seek out improvements to drive efficiency.
  • Safety Champion: A track record of maintaining a safe working environment and meeting industry safety standards.
  • Strong Communication & People Skills: You’re a confident communicator and an effective leader who can motivate and manage teams, conduct performance reviews, and collaborate with cross-functional departments.

Shift Time:

  • This position is for our evening shift: 12:00pm – 8:30pm Monday to Friday
  • Overtime is occasionally required
