Position Purpose and Summary: The Shipping Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring that Centra Windows remains the leading distributor of high-performance vinyl windows in B.C. This position focuses heavily on customer-facing responsibilities, ensuring timely, accurate, and professional communication with customers at every touchpoint. From managing delivery schedules to verifying that shipments are correct, the Shipping Coordinator is responsible for making sure every delivery meets the highest standards. Their attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to handle constant phone interactions with customers are crucial to success.

What You’ll Do:

• Communicate with customers: You’ll be on the phone constantly, keeping customers informed about their deliveries, confirming details, and handling any issues that arise.
• Organize delivery schedules: Maintain and update electronic and paper records to ensure deliveries are accurate and timely.
• Double-check accuracy: You’ll verify that everything loaded on the truck is correct, making sure no mistakes are made in shipments.
• Coordinate pickups and deliveries: Track the movement of our racking inventory used in production and delivery of windows.
• Problem-solve on the go: If there are short-shipments or changes in delivery, you’ll create new plans and communicate updates with ease.
• Support inventory tasks: Assist with monthly inventory and help keep our operations running smoothly.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years in a Shipping position
• Customer Service experience

• Organized & detail-oriented: You love keeping things on track, making sure no detail is overlooked.
• Independent & efficient: You can work without much supervision, managing your tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Customer service mindset: You take pride in delivering exceptional service and always strive to exceed expectations.
• Experience in logistics or shipping: Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or customer service is a plus.
